Without Training Wheels

Today is the day we take care of the paper work to register our van in the city we live in. There are lots of papers and red tape to go through in the process, not the least of which is the fact that everything is Japanese. I explained to the lady working behind the counter at our local office that 私の日本語はちょっと恥ずかしい(my Japanese is a little embarassing). They reassured me that it's not a problem. Once checked, we'll drive to Nagano City to turn the papers in and be official. We'd like to never have to take the training wheels off and always have an English speaker with us to translate for us, but that is not how life is. We would love to wait for better weather to travel in and see the sites. We've been blessed to have many people helping us so far, but you never really enjoy anything until you take the training wheels off and experience the freedom of doing it on your own. Regardless of how scared or awkward it seems at first, we're never truly alone anway because He is always there.
